Volunteer Police Information Check Program - Are You Eligible?

The program is  a three-year pilot jointly administered by Alberta Culture and Community Spirit and Volunteer Alberta. It was created to help offset costs associated with police checks by providing eligible nonprofit/voluntary sector organizations with police information checks for free-of-charge for volunteers in eligible circumstances. 

Organizations interested in taking advangate of this program must apply for a Voluntary Organization Authourization Number.As Administrator of the Volunteer Police Information Check Program, Volunteer Alberta is responsible for processing applications and managing day-to-day administration of the program.
